The size is great! you can store blankets, pillows, kid stuff. The colors are pretty yet neutral enough that it can go with different other solid colors in your space. On the inside of the lid is the same pattern as the outside and it has some cushion. It will not hook on (it will slid unlike when it is the correct way), but if you want to flip it to put your feet up it's softer than the wood that is face up. It wheels really smoothly. I have it on a jute rug and haven't had any issues. It did have two nicks on the wood which Wayfair compensated me for since getting just a new top wasn't an option. The nicks were not large enough that I wanted to deal with sending it back and overall they don't bother me. This is in our family room where my kids hang out mostly and it has held up! The tables part (the legs and trays) came in a much darker stain color than we expected. We brought that to the attention of Wayfair and they immediately got the manufacturer involved. The manufacturer contacted us the very next day and we had our concerns addressed and taken care of to our satisfaction in a few emails.
