The storage compartment is roomy enough to hold one large throw blanket or about two to three smaller blankets, which is great for keeping the living room tidy. The only thing I wish it had is hinges on the lid. Since the top is completely removable, it doesn't always sit perfectly flush when you put it back on, so you have to adjust it a little. One unexpected bonus is that my dogs are obsessed with it! The fabric is incredibly soft, and it's large enough for them to stretch out and lay on comfortably. I have tons of Wayfair items, but this one's undoubtedly the best. No evidence of the fact that it's from Wayfair as opposed to someplace higher-end. Construction seems sturdy, and both pieces of ottoman are adequate as seating--especially the big one. The boucle fabris lends a texture that's interesting without being hard to match.
