I rarely leave long reviews, but this extra-wide ironing board absolutely deserves it. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was not one of those cheap, flimsy ironing boards that wobble every time you touch them. The construction feels extremely solid, durable, and well-made. The extra-wide surface is honestly a game changer, especially when ironing large items like dress shirts, pants, tablecloths, curtains, bedding, or oversized clothing. Having the additional width saves so much time because you do not constantly have to reposition fabric every few seconds. One of the first things I noticed was how stable it is. Even during heavy use, the legs stay firmly planted and the board does not shake or flex like standard ironing boards. The height adjustment mechanism is smooth and secure, making it comfortable whether sitting or standing. The padding is thick and high quality, which allows steam and heat to distribute evenly without leaving marks or creating unwanted creases. The ironing surface itself is excellent. Clothes glide smoothly across the cover, and the extra space makes it much easier to achieve crisp, professional-looking results. I also appreciate that the board can comfortably handle heavier steam irons without feeling top-heavy or unstable. So many damaged parts its not even funny. Took it out of the box, tried to open it to standing and it fell apart. The metal is bent and makes a dip in the surface of the ironing top. The plastic around the trigger to open was cracked, falls off. The little plastic wheels for smooth opening arent even tightly assembled. They just fall right off. This will be a return.
