I do not like to iron on a flimsy surface. This ironing board is well made, Stu day and grips on the floor and stays in place while ironing. The width and length of the board is perfect. After my 40-year-old steel iron board literally collapsed after one too many moves, I needed a new stable and solid board. I went to the regular department stores to find a new board, but the ones I found were just too flimsy. I looked online and found the Brabantia Size B Medium Ironing Board to be highly recommended. The board arrived on time and well packaged. The board is very sturdy with several adjustable heights. The iron holder at the end of the board is nice, but I'm not sure how much I will use it.
