It was easy to put together. There was one challenge with the plastic piece that goes into the legs, but it went on eventually with some force. The bench is beautiful. I love Wayfair. Its the instructions that suck. Though the right side drawer if off a bit, but I will handle that. Seriously!! I have built so many things from Wayfair. When I started ordering furniture 2 years ago the instructions and how the screws and bolts were identified was awesome. Now they are all thrown in a bag together. Not marked, The instructions don't help identify them. Half the stuff that you MUST use is not in the instructions, you have to guess where to use it and how. Its ridiculous. Good solid wood but it comes with so many screws and if you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll have a really hard time. I’m pretty good at building furniture and I would say this isn’t for beginners to build. Every now and then I would have to stop and really look at the pieces and holes. Some holes were drilled unnecessarily or there would be something slightly off but if you know what you’re doing, it does work out in the end. I also had some help with this piece and it took 1 hour to build. Also, the dents in the shelf only allow for 2.5 pairs of dumbbells. I bought 3 pairs so far and only 1 dumbbell will have a holder for each pair. A bit interesting but overall cute if you’re going for a certain aesthetic. These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. Quality butcher block style table top at a great price. I took a bit of a flyer on the cinnamon stain - it was not pictured on the web site, but was lower cost than the others, so I took a chance.
