Overall, we are very satisfied with this work bench. It looks nice and fits perfectly in the room. It will be very useful for my husband. It took us about seven hours to put together. We’re retired and just took our time to make sure we did everything correctly. I have on recommendation and one comment. Recommendation The bench top is in two pieces. Even with all the screws and brackets attached it still bends slightly in the middle when you move it. We highly recommend building it exacting where it will be placed. We built it on a tarp about three feet from the wall. When we lifted it a few inches to remove the tarp the center where the two pieces of wood meet pinched a bit which slightly split the wood. Comment The instructions are all very small line sketches, no words or real pictures. You really had to look closely to decipher if the part was the correct direction or even where it went. Luckily we didn’t make any errors!. Debra. Pittsburgh, PA. Mon May 15 2023

Tool chest is exactly what I needed. What I didn’t expect is multiple delays. The order was placed on December 29th, It was finally delivered on January 21 but came in partly damaged. I was offered two options either reordering same item or partial reimbursement. Since reordering would face the same obstacles I opted for partial reimbursement. I am looking for garage storage shelves but not sure if it makes sense to order from Wayfair until their logistics are fixed.. Anonymous. Fri Jan 23 2026

It has a fully finished back and is built of maple-veneered plywood with a solid maple apron and legs. it has an earth-friendly UV finish with a 1-1/4" almond colored plastic laminate top.

I finally received my workbench, after a year of searching I found the one that fit all my needs. When I came across this workbench. I doubled checked my measurements, (even when it factory was wrong with the measurements and it was 72” wide instead of 68”) and I saw in the specifications that ASSEMBLY was REQUIRED I was pleased because the only way I could get it into my basement was that I had to assemble it myself. So when the workbench was delivered. To my surprise and I was feeling completely duped, the body of the workbench including the drawers came already ASSEMBLED. The apron, legs, single shelf, the top, and the hardware were separate. I was in a panic that I wouldn’t be able to get it in my basement. After calling Wayfair. They told me that the drawers could be removed which 4 of them were easy pull out drawers but the other 5 I had to remove the screws from the sides to remove them. With the drawers out it still was not an easy task getting it through the doorways; to the back of my house. To have friends carry it down my areaway into the basement. It is now in my basement/craft room and I am very pleased with it. But if I knew all the hassle I would have reconsidered.. Natalie Marie. Baltimore, MD. Mon Jun 25 2018

On the whole I’m reasonably satisfied, but there’s decent room for improvement on the product itself. Some of the metal components were pretty cheap in quality and its overall durability level is suspect. Overall the bench is OK and gets the job done, but it has its design flaws. The drawers are pretty cheap and troublesome to install, and the work surface did not align well with a bigger gap on one end than the other. I’m sure it may be adjustable, but it’s fairly cumbersome to deal with the screws. There were two flaws in the product as well — the middle panel’s top surface was bent out of shape (arrived that way) and was short one screw for securing the work surface to the legs. The instructions were generally clear and easy to follow and involved a two-hour install. I don’t really regret the purchase, but might have kept looking knowing what I know now.. Michael. The bench is beautiful. I love Wayfair. Its the instructions that suck. Though the right side drawer if off a bit, but I will handle that. Seriously!! I have built so many things from Wayfair. When I started ordering furniture 2 years ago the instructions and how the screws and bolts were identified was awesome. Now they are all thrown in a bag together. Not marked, The instructions don't help identify them. Half the stuff that you MUST use is not in the instructions, you have to guess where to use it and how. Its ridiculous. Thank goodness I have built enough stuff to figure it out.. Toni. Cedarville, IL. Tue May 12 2026
