I finally received my workbench, after a year of searching I found the one that fit all my needs. When I came across this workbench. I doubled checked my measurements, (even when it factory was wrong with the measurements and it was 72” wide instead of 68”) and I saw in the specifications that ASSEMBLY was REQUIRED I was pleased because the only way I could get it into my basement was that I had to assemble it myself. So when the workbench was delivered. To my surprise and I was feeling completely duped, the body of the workbench including the drawers came already ASSEMBLED. The apron, legs, single shelf, the top, and the hardware were separate. I was in a panic that I wouldn’t be able to get it in my basement. After calling Wayfair. They told me that the drawers could be removed which 4 of them were easy pull out drawers but the other 5 I had to remove the screws from the sides to remove them. With the drawers out it still was not an easy task getting it through the doorways; to the back of my house. To have friends carry it down my areaway into the basement.
