This deck box is absolutely massive and holds everything I needed it to- with room left over! I garden so I needed somewhere to store my extra soil, mulch, and even some extra pots. They were so cluttered in my house and patio so this was my solution. It worked great and there’s even room for more. The only thing I would maybe change would be sealing it a little better- I don’t need a full lock with a code needed or anything but sometimes a strong wind shifts the lid a bit so I’d like to be able to lock it in place. This deck box works perfectly for our needs. It’s a large storage box for our toddlers toys and offers plenty of storage space while being weather proof. Assembly was easy. Overall it's pretty sturdy once put together. I do like the heavy lid with shocks to help open and close. It's metal except for the bottom which is plastic. It does look nice. I did like the bag insert that velcro's in place and zips shut to keep bugs and such out. It's also fairly lightweight to move around. This was a pain to put together. I've assembled plenty of things without difficulty but this was time consuming with all the screws and cut myself twice on the sharp metal. They do provide good gloves for this though so wear them! Also the latch didn't line up correctly when the lid is closed and can't be adjusted so I have to push down on the lid to get a lock on it. Overall I'm happy enough with the purchase.. Anonymous. This is the perfect size to hold all of our seasonal items. I don’t have a garage so it’s ideal to have a place for beach gear once it’s come out of the attic. I was really scared when I first opened the box because it looked low-quality. I wasn't able to assemble it myself. My husband assembled it but it took him 7 hours. When it was assembled, we were very pleased with the look and quality of it. It's a BIG box and we were able to fit lots of stuff in it! I'm proud to say I was able to build this one on my own - it's very simple. All of the edges just click into place, and then the hinges need a Philips screwdriver and that's about it. What doesn't work is the sizing. Even here it says 22" x 17" - that makes no sense. It was sold as a 125 gal deck box but turned out to be a 45 gal box, so it's not really large enough to keep even just 4 bottoms and 4 tops to an outdoor furniture collection. Looks nice. Modern look. Metal is thinner than I thought it would be and I was worried it would be flimsy but it firmed up nicely once assembled. Not sturdy enough to use as seating but could double as a sideboard or serving surface. Metal panels are quite sharp so use caution when assembling. I’m an experienced mechanic and it took me about three hours to assemble. Arrived with bend damage in a couple of spots but not enough to return it. We will see about weatherproofing as it is exposed to the elements where I have it. Locking mechanism is light duty. Any serious burglar could tear the lock hasp off in seconds.
