It’s really nice! Got a professional to put it together and it took a long time and some extra tools from the hardware store to get it the way we wanted it. This gazebo looks so nice! It seems sturdy and like it will stand up to the weather well. It took FOREVER to assemble, and at times it definitely needed two adults to put together. I recommend having at least two people on task to get it done. Ours arrived with some damage to the main support poles/legs. It was able to be assembled just fine so the damage is cosmetic only. I've purchased several things through Wayfair and each of those was a pleasant experience. This hard-topped gazebo is beautiful now that it is complete and it looks impressive in our yard. We look forward to many years of use. But, it had a couple of misleading aspects to it The estimated construction time mentioned on the item's site was grossly understated. Even with the help of a second person for certain tasks, it took me more than 4 times the estimate in the listing -- and I am pretty experienced at constructing similar things. The product's installation instructions were nicely illustrated, but several parts were mis-labled in the instructions and several of the instructions didn't cover crucial details. More instructions and more explicit details would have been very useful. Some instructions were so ambiguous that I had to try out more than one possibility, going back and re-doing certain things. That is the product manufacturer's fault, though. Wayfair's transaction went very well. They are efficient, speedy, accurate and responsive. One quibble: in the time between placing my order and receiving the shipping confirmation (just a couple of days), the gazebo's price dropped almost $100. Maybe there’s a better way to design it or preassemble some so it doesn’t all fall on the customer. Bigger issue I have is that there are no covers for the hardware at the feet - pretty ugly. Absolutely beautiful gazebo and we love it! We were pleasantly surprised that it is made with real wood—it gives it such a nice, high-quality look and feel. The only downside was the instructions. They can be confusing and definitely aren’t the clearest, so assembly took quite a bit of time. Just taking inventory of all the pieces across all three boxes took us over an hour! Overall, it took about three separate days to put together, spending roughly 5–6 hours each day. That said, this was assembled by one person, so I think that’s important to keep in mind. With two people, I imagine the process would go much faster. Once it’s up, though, it is SO worth it. The quality is really nice, it looks beautiful, and it has completely transformed our deck. We love this pergola! It replaced a motorized retractable canvas awning that needed a new cover. We discovered that replacing just the cover would have cost almost three times as much as purchasing this entire pergola—and this looks so much better! Our deck is on the second level, and the pergola feels sturdy and has held up well through some fairly strong winds. My brother and nephew assembled it and attached it securely to both the deck and the house. Installation took most of the day, so it was definitely a project. Fortunately, my husband and I organized all the pieces and assembled several of the basic parts before they arrived, which helped tremendously. The finished pergola looks fabulous, and we receive so many compliments on it! Our neighbor was so impressed that they took the accompanying photo from their deck. The only drawback we have found is that it does leak during rainstorms, and we haven’t yet figured out how to correct that. Even with that issue, we are extremely pleased with it. Great product we purchased the 12x20 said you will need 6 people for 14 hours, I did it in 16 hours by myself the only part I needed a quick hand with was putting up the 4 posts once I had those up I was off to the races directions were very clear few confusing parts but nothing that wasn't fixable, its sturdy and well built all screws lined up with pre tapped holes and it looks great at the campground, 3 hours after completing it we got a thunderstorm with heavy winds, we stayed dry under there, I was 100% leary of it coming from wayfair but I am impressed with it anyone complaining about it should just hire someone to build it because no issues seeing i did 98% of the building of it myself.. ***** Five stars for quality, but be warned: 1. You will need three or four strong people to put the heavy basic structure together and into place, and two people for the rest of the construction. 2. This is not a weekend project for a DIYer. 3. If you can, hire someone with experience. We did, and it was worth every penny. 4. Instructions were fairly good, but missing some crucial information that took some time to figure out. 5. Once figured out, all parts fit together well and pre-drilled holes lined up. 6. There are lots of painstaking details, like fastening thin pieces of weatherstripping around inside and outside of all plastic panels, to name but one. BUT, once put together, this is a very good-quality, beautiful room. We purchased a ceiling fan that converts to a heater and hope that, here in Ontario, we can use it as a three-season room.. This is a great well constructed Gazebo, highly recommend. It took day to build it was a 3 person job. If I break it down in hours 10 hours and that was 6 hours day one 2 hours the second day. The package arrive in great condition, had 4 boxes all parts were there along with extra hardware. Every step followed, no problem with installing it. After it was all put together it was a beautiful sight to see. My family and I will enjoy at our campground of 2 lots. Love gazebo. The instructions are confusing. It’s not easy to put on the upper sections. The upper areas are very difficult to reach if not on mounting on the ground. Im somewhere between 4 and 5 on this. The packaging is horrible so many parts were damaged. Wayfair gets a 5 out of 5 for getting replacements ordered for me quickly. The replacements were packed just as poorly so some got damaged as well but they sent extras so it was not a problem. Sent from the manufacturer so none of that is Wayfairs fault. Instructions were just okay. Not always super clear. Some bolts really wanted to cross thread. Im happy with the look and function. Its not going to keep every drop of water out in a storm but itll do an adequate job. It could be a little sturdier but I dont think you can find better for the price. Im telling everyone about Wayfair customer service. I expected to have to contact the manufacturer myself and be lucky to get a response. I’m not sure we could be happier with our gazebo. After spending time budgeting and planning a build-from-scratch project, this became clear to us that it was more affordable and frankly better looking. We love the size of the posts and the look of the metal roof. We are looking to add lights and fan(s) in the near future. Ours is a 15x13. We would consider ourselves very handy with tools and construction. It took four of us (two in our twenties and two in our forties) a three day weekend to put this together. The hardest part was the height of the roof and the reach needed to attach some screws. None of the work is challenging. It just requires some basic construction skills and teamwork (patience)..
