Here is my review of the Patiowell 8x8 Resin Storage Shed. First, Wayfair made the entire purchasing process seamless. Their website was easy to navigate, customer service was professional, and the FedEx deliveries (which arrived in two separate shipments) were handled quickly and efficiently. The shed arrived in five large boxes, and the FedEx delivery driver handled everything with care by placing the boxes neatly in the driveway. I was impressed with the thoughtful packaging. The components were securely protected with layers of Styrofoam, cardboard, and plastic straps to prevent damage during shipping. The shed itself feels sturdy, durable, and solid. Once all of the parts were organized, the instructions became easy to follow during construction. This project definitely requires two people, as many sections need to be assembled on the ground and then lifted into place. Once the base floor is completed, the rest of the build flows together step-by-step, including the walls, frame, roof, and doors. For tools and preparation, I highly recommend having a cordless drill, painter’s tape, extra bolts, and caulking for sealing the seams. Overall, assembling the shed was challenging and took about six hours to complete. Patience, organization, and a few extra supplies are essential for a smooth installation. Great shed, just what we needed at a good price. We took our time and assembled it over two and a half days with mostly one person. Five stars. This storage shed is exactly what I hoped for: sturdy, stylish, and a huge upgrade from cramming yard tools in my laundry room. The material is the real win here. I specifically did not want a metal shed, and this proves why. It looks great in my backyard, feels solid, and is easy to wipe down and keep clean. Bonus: my HOA only allows this type of material anyway, so it checked that box too. My only beef is the door “handles.” There are no real handles, so you have to put your fingers inside the cutout and pull, which is not the best user experience. A simple handle design would make this perfect. Assembly note: this is not a one-person job. It took me and my daughter about 3 hours. After a full raining day, no wather inside and the water flows super easy on the sides. i planed to put a lock but looks strong and secure and the two ventilation windows keep it fresh inside. Only one issue and it was my fault. i loose the two bushings AHO and the two AHP from model 60396 to suport the two doors and now its imposible to get those doors lined up. See picture attached. I received 4 boxes, wow! Very heavy so be prepared to help your mail man get them off the truck. Delivery was super fast btw, thumbs up for Wayfair, as always they kept me in the loop, with email, texts! I did the inventory to assure all pieces are delivered. Each box has all the pieces that are needed to be in them and each pieces is meticulously labeled, thumbs up to this Company ! However it could be very intimidating, it's literally hundreds of pieces...I was able to follow along a manual to ensure all pieces are in each of the 4 boxes.. it was a daunting task but with patient and good organization it is do-able within 1 h. I found a pair of gloves in box 1 , which are so USEFUL! , since the raw corners and edges can really be painful on repeat handling without any hand protection. The "Resin" is a hollow tubed plastic board about 1/2 inch thick. Very impressed with the quality i must say. The color seems darker grey than on the photo in the sale post. I will need about a week Wayfair to start the built and i will come back and add to the review. But i must say so fare I am very impressed and give it 5 Stars. Also we are not afraid to built in the cold! So stay tuned for the finished shed! Update 12/7 we stated to built it and it's good so fare, but be aware HERE ARE NO PREDRILLED OR PRE MARKED HOLES! YOU HAVE TO MEASURE WHERE TO PUT THE SCREWS ETC. ITS NOT FOR BEGINNER BUILDERS AND IT IS ALL IN CM not INCHES.....We put 2 walls up and also the wall with the window in it, which was marked wrong on the Instructions, but as said for an advanced experienced builder it was clear to NOT go by the instructions....Anyway the quality is good , but it is a process to built due to above given reasons.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently got this shed and love it! I was really drawn to the exterior and the overall style of the shed. It compliments our house so well. I liked the added gable above the door, the details of the windows in the doors, as well as the window (which actually opens to give additional airflow) with cute shutters really give it a lot of personality. The exterior really does have the look and texture of wood, but I'm thrilled I won't be having to paint it every few years. It is not just a basic functional shed, it actually improves the overall look of our yard. This shed is also very functional. It has steel posts in each of the walls and steel rafters so it is very well built and sturdy. We live in an area prone to a lot of wind so I was initially concerned about the durability of the material, but once we built it, I'm confident it'll stand up great. I also really love the attention to storage detail. It comes with two shelves included that span the entire width of one wall, and lots of options on locations on several walls to hang them. There are tons of spaces and kits you can buy for additional shelving if you need. The shelves are reinforced with metal rods and very stable. I also liked the hooks that it comes with that attach the wall perfect for holding lawn tools or extension cords. The double doors open up very wide and we measured and our riding lawn mower will fit with no problem once we get it up and running this season. The doors also have a sturdy locking mechanism and are reinforced with steel so they are very secure. The second door has a pin mechanism to keep it shut, so you only have to open both doors when you need to. The windows on the wall and door both provide plenty of light, but the entire top of the shed is actually translucent skylights so it is very well lit and bright. My husband is also 6'4" tall and can comfortably walk around inside. We have had several spring storms bringing wind, snow, sleet, and rain since we assembled this shed and have had no issues with leaking water whatsoever! We had no problems assembling it, but just be aware it does take time. It took about 10 hours for my husband and I to put it together. I would definitely recommend assembling it on completely level ground. If it was unlevel it would be much more difficult to assemble. The manual was very clear and the directions were easy to follow. The parts were all labeled very well and easy to identify. The manual tells you exactly which parts you need for each step and even the hardware is separated into individual labeled bags for each stage of assembly. Overall, we are very happy with our shed! Not only does it provide a sturdy and secure place to store our outdoor accessories, it adds character and personality to our yard while doing it. It's a really great value!. Rachelann02.
