Very roomy deck box. Looks nice. Fairly easy to assemble with two people. It's big! The directions for assembling it could be a little better -- small print and not very clear diagrams. My only real disappointment with the box is that rain gets in along the center seam in the top. If I were to do it again, I would buy a waterproof box, not just weather resistant. I use it for storing my sectional cushions, so water getting in was problematic. We remedied the issue by using duct tape on the interior along the seam. Fingers crossed that it holds. I was really scared when I first opened the box because it looked low-quality. I wasn't able to assemble it myself. My husband assembled it but it took him 7 hours. The box is not entirely as described. I was expecting a storage box that was completely metal. In both the product description and specifications, it is stated the material is steel. No where in the description/specifications does it state that the bottom and lid are plastic. This was misleading because it is never stated plastic is a material used. The description also states it has "built-in a full-wrap Oxford fabric storage bag which creates a physical barrier." No such bag was included with my box. Nor was it shown anywhere on the manual that came with the box. Once it was assembled, gaps are left around the interior base to where bugs and possibly water can enter into the box. Pack your patience while assembling. Two peopl recommended for putting up the sides. I bought this to store all of my bags of bird and squirrel food. The squirrels had discovered my previous plastic deck box and ate holes through it to get inside. This is why I specifically wanted an all metal box. Overall it's pretty sturdy once put together. I do like the heavy lid with shocks to help open and close. It's metal except for the bottom which is plastic. It does look nice. I did like the bag insert that velcro's in place and zips shut to keep bugs and such out. It's also fairly lightweight to move around. This was a pain to put together. I've assembled plenty of things without difficulty but this was time consuming with all the screws and cut myself twice on the sharp metal. They do provide good gloves for this though so wear them! Also the latch didn't line up correctly when the lid is closed and can't be adjusted so I have to push down on the lid to get a lock on it. Overall I'm happy enough with the purchase.. Anonymous. I am 72 years old and have never experienced an assembly process so difficult to perform. The main problem is the fasteners are very small. There are a lot of tight spacer where the fasteners go and you need very small fingers to hold the fasteners and tighten two pieces of sheet metal together. The box is very nice when complete but be prepared for a long assembly time. You actually need a second person to help with assembly because the sheet metal is very floppy. Also all the sheet metal is covered with very thin sheets of plastic wrap for protection and is very difficult to remove before and after assembly. Be prepared for some cut bleeding fingers.
