The RSI-Maze 48-gallon (180 liters) Geared Compost Twin Tumbler transforms leftover waste and garden refuse into rich, nutrient-dense compost with next to no effort at all. A key feature is the two compartments which means you never stop composting. When the first compartment is full, you start on the second compartment. Once this side is full the first side is ready to empty, and the cycle continues. For larger families that create more compost material, the interior divider between the chambers can be removed to allow the entire composter to be used for single composting. The strongly reinforced barrel is UV protected and contains multiple air vents to promote aerobic decomposition. The large opening and sliding doors allow for the easy addition of waste and collection of ready compost. A very unique feature is the gear and handles which ensures easier turning of the drum and the geared ratchet will automatically lock rotation in any position (a feature that is not seen in most compost tumblers at this price point and volume). The frame is powder-coated zinc and its open front design allows for easy access for the collection of ready-to-use compost from the barrel with plenty of room for a compost cart or bucket to slide in underneath.

The next generation of composting is now available. The Compost Wizard Dual Senior combines some of the greatest features in the tumblers to create a compact tumbler that does it all. With compost tumblers, users are restricted to working with one batch at a time. The dual senior overcomes this drawback by supporting two batches running simultaneously. Each 40-gallon chamber is separated and can compost independently. As with the majority of the tumblers, the dual sensor is manufactured using recycled polyethylene in Lake City, Pennsylvania. This plastic is BPA free and for contact with edibles. Setting up the composter is easy; simply place the composter in a mostly sunny spot (partial shade in hotter climates) and you're done. The composter comes fully assembled. The dual tumbler will take your composting to the next level.

Owning a compost bin can provide a continuous stream of organic fertilizer for your garden. This compost bin can help convert kitchen waste, coffee grounds, leaves, and weeds into green organic fertilizer. Please be careful not to add non-degradable garbage, such as glass, plastic, metal, and harmful substances—in two separate chambers so that you can compost two batches at different times. Rotate to facilitate composting. Generally, compost can be harvested in 2weeks. You can directly bury it in the soil, not instantly fertilize it near the root of the plant, because the high concentration of fertilizer will harm the plant and damage its growth.

Love it. Felipe. Gainesville, FL. Mon Sep 28 2026

The Aerobin is a technological breakthrough in home and garden waste management. It uses a patented lung ® or aeration core inside a sealed bin to promote aerobic break down of organic matter, which experts say is the preferable method to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The quality seems as excellent as you will see on reviews elsewhere. Only a week in for us now now and this thing is 'cooking.' Note that, as another review 'complained', the color delivered was green, not grey as pictured and described online. Thankfully I had read that review and was fine with either color. The color issue is for Wayfair customer service and shouldn't affect the product quality review. The way they show it installed on the side of the house is pretty troublesome too. Do your research, set this up right and it seems great to me.. Warren. Westbury, NY. Mon May 22 2023

Temperature plays an important role in the composting process. Decomposition occurs most rapidly between 110 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit (44-71 Celsius). With the Compost Wizard Thermometer, you can determine exactly which bacteria are most active and the best steps to take next. Psychrophilic (55-77 F), Mesophilic (70-100 F), and Thermophilic (113-160 F) are the three major groups of bacteria. As temperatures increase, so does the amount of composting activity as the next group takes over. If your pile is too cool, it may mean you need more raw materials, or it isn't receiving enough of the basic ingredients such as moisture or air. Your pile may even get too hot and require water or extra turning to cool down. The Compost Wizard Thermometer will give you the insight you need to make sure your compost is operating at optimal temperatures. The stainless steel construction will hold up against corrosion and use. The large display dial has a bright red hand that gives you precise measurements in Fahrenheit. With this thermometer, your compost humus will be nutrient-rich and ready in no time. And best of all, it works on piles and compost bins, alike. Make compost like a pro with the Compost Wizard Thermometer.
