Insufficient packing/shipping boxes resulting in damage is often a disappointment with otherwise decent products. Assembling the first product was a bit of a challenge. The planter beds are very nice and pretty easy to put together. I bought two and use them side by side with about a foot space in between. Although the directions were a bit confusing I managed by myself and took about 30 min. I only used a screw.driver to assist in guiding the plastic corners but no tools are required as there is no hardware. You only put the plastic pieces together and snap them in.
