It’s plastic but it’s sturdy and doesn’t look terrible. The space for a “lock” isn’t much. A full size lock definitely doesn’t fit in the tiny, janky locking space on the top. If you want a fully secure deck box, this one is more for aesthetics, but it does the job of storing. Good size too.

Perfect for what I needed it

The deck box itself is good although the plastic is flimsy. Photo is how the packaged arrived to me and I called since I paid full price and expect an undamaged box, this was repackaged. When I called Wayfair the rep was nasty and said it was Fed Ex's fault, not Wayfair. I opened it and put it together and all pieces were there but the whole experience left me disatisfied with Wayfair forever.

I took a chance and ordered an open box item. It arrived with all the parts. It was EASY to assemble. I had no idea how big 99 gallons was and it’s HUGE! I can’t imagine the 200 gallon one. It’s so perfect for all cushions and odds and ends . The wicker gives it high end look.

Very sturdy and roomy. It was simple to put together and a great addition to our outdoor decor.
