It's beautiful! Pretty easy to put together too. The top bars are slightly lower than I thought they would be but I think the measurements are to the top of the corner ornaments and not the bars. Hopefully my husband doesn't hit his head The slats are over 5" apart so I did order a bunkie board to go under our mattress for extra protection. This is exactly what my daughter wanted. If you follow the instructions and take your time the building process is easy just time consuming.
