To think I almost decided not to get this! I just wasn't sure about it and now I love it. It fits my space perfectly, the L space is much better than just a straight bar I had originally thought about getting. The black with the circular pattern cut in the front is very attractive. The flip down display window in the top front has three different sections. The display are has a remote with several colors, color combinations, speeds, and brightness levels all accessed by a neat little remote that is easy to use. There is a cord to plug the bar into the wall so you can use the outlets built into the shelf behind the display case. I have one roomy drawer and a cabinet with a door in addition to shelves for lots of storage. This is being used as a basement bar and has all the features we wanted without being overly large for the space we have. My husband achieved the assembly without any assistance even though 2 people are recommended. He worked on it a couple of hours each time over 2 evenings. The instructions were detailed and clear. This is great for a bar but could have many other uses. We have already had compliments on this new addition to the basement.. Terry. Birch Run, MI. Thu Oct 22 2026

Love this receptionist desk! Purchased it for my flower shop.. Pamela. Sun Aug 30 2026

Original Design & Strict Quality Control：Built with our patented original design. Every unit is carefully inspected to ensure it meets high quality standards before shipping. Fits a Variety of Spaces：The reception desk requires a minimum placement area, making it suitable for offices, salons, hotels, and more.

It came in a large wooden crate which was very heavy. There were several hundred screws and retaining clips to build the pieces. The directions werent perfect, and actually showed the fasteners backwards so they must have recently changed those. It took about 3-4 hours to build the small unit. The materials are very heavy duty and feel commercial. The design makes a good use of the footprint it takes up. The only problem we have is that we ordered the walnutblack color, but it came in oakblack. Each piece had a sticker on it that said oak. It was nice how the pieces were labeled for easy installation. Im still waiting to hear back from customer service to see if we can get the correct color, because we would not have ordered the oak for the room we purchased it for. **update** customer service ordered a replacement desk in the correct color walnutblack. However, they then canceled the replacement without any notice or reason. So I guess Im stuck with the wrong color desk which is poor service. Keep this in mind when you order - you may not get the correct color wood.. Brittany. Wooster, OH. Fri Aug 14 2026

We love the final product - the desk itself is worth 5 stars in it's appearance, durability, and quality of construction. The process we took to figure out what we were buying and how to assemble, however, was less than ideal. Here are our observations: PROS: * High quality, beautiful desk, we've received lots of compliments after only using it for 1 week! * Well packaged (see photo of shipping container) - took a few pliers and muscles to bend each tab and get the cover off. No pieces were damaged in shipping! * every piece is uniquely numbered in the order you assemble them * assembly is fairly simple (see note on the instructions below) - it's primarily tapping in the plastic part of the screw in the picture, screwing the screw into that plastic part, and then using little metal 'receiving' plugs to tighten around the screw heads when putting pieces together. CONS/NEUTRAL: * Sticker placement was awful. Slapped on front and center to most visible locations (rather than on the unseen, back, or underside of a piece). The stickers came off well (whew! seemed more plastic-y than paper) but some left a sticky residue that required additional cleaning. * The description says 'reversible', there are 2 images that show the black L on the left side (when looking from the back) and I chatted with Wayfair before purchasing and they 'confirmed' that assembly was reversible and the black 'L' part could go on either side. IT IS NOT REVERSIBLE. See the picture of the gray board I'm holding. This is the reason it is not reversible. The holes only go one way - you cannot assemble it any other way. We did, however, choose to still put the gray part on the opposite side (not pictured) - we just have the shelves facing out and put a few small succulents on them to make it look intentional. * The directions left MUCH to be desired. Usually just the number of the board, how many screws needed, and roughly where it went. Took a bit more brain power than normal to figure out how it was rotated, what screws went into which holes, etc. But not impossible. Assembly is fairly simple with an electric screw driver, rubber mallet, and manual screw driver. A few times order seemed like it could have been better - awkward angles to screw boards together, etc that could've likely be put together differently. * Assembly instructions had details about how to USE the lock - but not how to install it. Didn't take much effort to figure out - but some ingenuity. There is a silver 'L' piece (see picture) that comes w/ the lock but is never mentioned in the instructions (but critical to the lock having something to latch on to). * Our lock was put together incorrectly - when 'locked' the knob showed 'green/open' and when it was 'open' it showed 'red/locked'. This was fixed by loosening the screw on the back of the lock arm and rotating it to the other side. * Kit also includes a metal plate with 4 holes (see photo) that IS included in the inventory of the manual - but never used in assembly. No clue where or how it would be used. Also included 2 metal bars that I think are meant to be hammered into any spot to show the brand - but didn't use those. That picture also shows the leftover pieces - a few extra screws are included - thank you! * Wayfair details for this item says the surface is 'solid wood'. It is not. See the image of the hole on the top - it is (very dense) particle board with laminate surfaces. * Manual says we should have received 2 cord management covers (nice, silver metal caps) - but we only received one (it is in a small white box - easily disguised w/ all of the white styrofoam and sheeting used to protect the boards - but we triple checked and never found a 2nd box). Granted the hole is on the second shelf and not easily visible - but would be nice to have both. Contacted customer support and they weren't able to just order that piece, so they gave us a % refund. * The drawer and cabinet door are soft-close (great!) but the drawer, especially, is hard to open - and all you get is the knob of the lock. We had someone install drawer pulls to remedy this issue. Overall, we received a % back from customer support for our troubles, which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely buy the desk again, but what a mess!. Laura. Minnesota. Tue Sep 15 2026

I LOVED this reception dessk! I didn’t get to see any pictures from other people, so didn’t know how it would really look in person. I am super happy with it! I like the texture on it as well, looks like marble. Super happy with my purchase!. Anonymous. Mon Nov 02 2026
