Very pretty table, sturdy. There was a small ding in the wood top, but it was on the edge of the under-side, and not worth any drama since it doesn't really affect the appearance or use. The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. We put a runner down the length of the seam in the two tops and you can’t see it and it feels really strong and sturdy and as attractive and easy enough to assemble if you have some Mechanical ability that’s all.. I am a big guy weighing in at 350#. I go through a chair or two in the back yard aroung the swimming pool where I have a container garden. The hindges always seem to bend making the chair lend forward. I had concerns regarding this chair as it did not have hindges meaning when moving the chair it would not fold. Well, that is not a problem as the chair is light enough to move with ease. The pedestal table has a thick high-pressure laminate top that's durable and easy to clean. The top has an attractive black T-Mold edge that won't crack or peel. The solid cast iron round bases have leveling glides to prevent the table from wobbling on uneven floors. The column base is made of 16 gauge steel.
