I was so disappointed when I picked up the box and heard broken glass tumbling in the box!! It was broken in so many pieces I was afraid to reach in to get the wood base. Apparently the glass is very thin or it wasnt packed properly or in transit the handlers tossed it around. I like the wooden base. It feels solid and pretty well constructed, but I wouldnt try buying another one. I very disappointed with this purchase!!!
