Assembly Required Plastic Pet Gates

This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. It is permanently attached to the wall so I don’t have to fumble with a gate, and it isn’t in the way. I am quite happy with this mesh gate.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

Keep your adventurous feline safe with our Extra Tall Cat Gate—designed to block even the most determined jumpers! Standing at an adjustable 74.8" to 98.4" height and with an adjustable 33.9" to 41.7" width, this sturdy barrier prevents agile cats from jumping over. Its transparent design offers an elegant, minimalist aesthetic that seamlessly blends into any room, providing basic functionality and preserving your home's sightlines. Whether you're blocking off restricted areas or creating a safe zone, this gate is the ideal choice for multi-pet households.

This extra tall pet gate is designed well and setup is mostly straightforward. The specs on the web site claim that this gate will expand up to 42 inches wide and this is simply not true. I was only able to get this to expand as far as 40 inches, see attached photos. When you latch the doors in the center there is only so far you can adjust the left and right sides. I maximized the width and 40 inches is it. Wayfair should update the specs on their web site. Other than that the gate works as intended and I would recommend it as long as you are aware of the 40 inch wide maximum gate dimensions.. Paul. SC. Sun Oct 11 2026

This extension kit is designed specifically for this pet gate and may not fit other models or brands.

Game changer for foster kittens!! Before, I had to keep finding taller cardboard to keep the kittens from getting out and over the bannister! Opens and closes flawlessly. Great price for such a quality item. Stays open when I don’t need to close it. Looks classy. Christi. Richmond, MO. Sat Nov 07 2026

Works well. We use it to manage indooroutdoor access on a French door. It allows air through without letting the bold raccoons in.. Maybe A Cat Wrote This. The Internet. Sun Aug 23 2026

Suitable for doorways, hallways and staircases, this sleek pet barrier matches most home styles and is ideal for multi-pet households.

We love this gate! Great height, the extra door at the bottom is perfect for us letting the “special cat house” upstairs and not the others. Super easy to install. We went with the pressure mounted way and it is tight! No budging on it so all. Very happy with this product!!!. Jessica. Dorsey, IL. Mon Oct 19 2026

This metal safety gate mounts pressure-style in stairways, hallways, and doorways from 29.5" to 44.1" wide — no tools, no drilling, about 10 minutes from box to done. A built-in 7.8" x 10.2" pet door with its own safety latch lets cats and small pets pass freely while your little one stays on the safe side. The walk-through door opens in both directions and closes itself automatically — and if you're carrying an armful of laundry, it locks open at 90°. The double-lock release (press the bottom switch while lifting the top) is designed to be tricky for small fingers but effortless for adults, and the all-steel frame stands up to real-life bumps: up to 210N of force when hardware mounted, 150N pressure mounted. Need a wider fit? Extension kits (+10cm / +20cm) stretch the gate from 29.5" all the way to 44.1". From the top of the stairs to the kitchen doorway, one gate covers every danger zone in the house.
