We bought this Cat Enclosure because we can not let our cats roam around outside where we live. It took a while to get this cat enclosure assembled but the directions were pretty clear and almost all the parts were labeled. The parts that were not labeled were pretty easy to figure out what they were. There were many different sizes of bolts and screws but all the bolts used the same locking nuts. The assembly job would have been a lot easier if two people were to do it and I would definitely recommend doing the assembly with two people. Well see how they like being in it. So far they seem to like being in the enclosure, so thats really good.. Joe. Brooklyn, NY. Thu Jul 16 2026

Great outdoor shelter and nicely insulated and seems to heat up quickly. Lots of room inside. There was a slight issue when putting it together with one of the parts they made the holes for the eaves in the front on the inside as opposed to being on the outside. Everything else fit perfect. Will have to have new holes drilled to put the eaves on so not a big deal. I would recommend this product.. Linda. Ontario. Fri Dec 05 2025

It connects to a window via a sliding door for indoor-outdoor access, includes four wheels (two with brakes) for easy movement, and has a removable PVC layer for easy cleaning. For the most part I was happy with my purchase. It was very easy to put together, but the quality was not as good as I was hoping for for the amount of money I spent on it. I had the wood split three times when I was trying to attach the wheels and as you see in a couple of the pictures you can see a back panel that was pre-assembled had a screw put in at an angle and it broke through the wood and now I have a sharp screw sticking through.. Nice little cat condo. Easy to assemble . I have an outside for a feral cat and it held up through salt wind and rain. I had to block off one of the entrances due to the wind but since it has three entrances he still had a quick in and out. Anonymous. Washington. Sun May 10 2026

A fantastic compact catio with a roof covering for adverse weather. HOWEVER, this was incredibly difficult to assemble and my TaskRabbit guy had to take it on. He stopped several times to scratch his head. Note: Be sure the hammock fasteners are enforced with say, a screw because the ones that come with it are very short and one fell out while my poor cat was in it. Luckily I had a pouf below so it broke his fall. I'd recommend a pad or something in the bottom. All that said, I love the multiple shelves and doors. My kids love getting inside it with the kitty. He enjoys watching birds and hanging out with us. Plenty of room to add extra toys, water and food bowls etc. Great value, too.. Kristy. Brooklyn, NY. Sun Jul 26 2026

Had potential and is attractive but assembling this is awful (few pre-drilled holes, mislabeled parts, poor instruction labels, not enough hardware) and the “weatherproof” product buckled within days of sitting on my deck. This durable outdoor cat house features SF-grade spruce wood construction and waterproof plastic shingle roofing for weather resistance. Its multi-level design includes 4 platforms for jumping/resting, a movable security hut, and 3 outward-opening doors for natural access. The enclosure combines tightly-woven iron mesh with PVC panels (temperature control/visibility), offering flexible window or wall mounting with an elevated dry base.

I’ve been looking for one with kind of measurements and with some adjustments to the structure (for our needs and wants) this has been great. The instructions were pictures which I thought were a challenge, and a few pieces were cracked.. I used glue and packing tape for repair. But not with removing a star. I skipped the braces ( first steps so I could put it together in the house ) when my husband and I could assemble this outdoors I did end up replacing some of the upper parts with the same wire as the bottom. I purchased at tractor supply then replaced the two doors with just wire ( a good stapler is needed.) The big door at the bottom I added an extra lock so it gives me the access needed for “just in case” my cats would run in if I shake the treat jar. I got two pieces of strapping for the top to support the top by the roof and one for the center just for additional support. I am able to use power tools but I didn’t want to come up with the big design so honestly this is great! I got some exterior white paint just in case I feel it needs a bit more protection from the elements. Well I hope this review helps. We are pleased. Tami. Sun May 17 2026

The Heated Cat House provides a safe and warm outdoor shelter for cats. It includes a UL-certified heating pad with automatic temperature control, keeping a stable range of 89–116°F. Built-in high-temperature protection prevents overheating or over-cooling, and a 6.5-foot bite-resistant power cord ensures added safety. This cat house is designed with full insulation, using high-density foam and fabric lining plus a waterproof PVC-coated exterior to keep warmth in and cold air out. The removable liner makes cleaning simple. The asphalt roof is weather-resistant, protecting cats from rain and snow. For larger spaces, multiple units can be combined. Durable materials and reliable heating make this insulated cat house an excellent choice for feral, stray, or household cats living outdoors.

I purchased three cat houses without the electric heating pads in August 2025. I wanted to provide year-round shelter for several semi-feral cats. One reason I chose these houses was that I could use the included insulation during the winter and remove it during the warmer months. I live in western North Carolina. After some trial and error, this is what worked for me. The cats used all three houses regularly last winter. 1. **Use the extra board to make the entrance smaller.** I cut the board that comes with the house to fit the width of the doorway and used extra screws to attach it across the bottom front. This helped keep the straw inside and reduced drafts. 2. **Put insulation underneath the floor in winter.** This made a noticeable difference. The cats preferred the houses that had something insulating them from the cold underneath, so eventually I did all three this way. In one location I used pine straw underneath the house. In another, I put straw inside a cardboard box beneath it. It isn't pretty, but it helps keep the cold from coming up through the floor. 3. **Use real straw for bedding.** Depending on the season, I used approximately 2–8 inches of straw inside each house. Do not use sleeping bags, blankets, hay (nay!), or decorative straw. If fabric gets wet during cold or freezing weather, it will not keep a cat warm and can actually become dangerous. Buy a bale of real straw from a feed or hardware store. Mine costs about $16. I changed the straw every few weeks and adjusted the amount as the seasons changed. Manufacturers do not recommend putting straw over a heated pad, so only use straw if you are **not** using the electric heating pad. I chose straw instead of a heating pad, following recommendations from cat rescue organizations for outdoor winter shelters. 4. **I taped the little swinging doors shut during winter.** I used painter's tape so I could easily remove it when the weather warmed up. I wasn't particularly concerned about predators in winter where my shelters were located, and blocking the doors helped reduce drafts and allowed me to pile the straw higher. 5. **I taped the two floor pieces together.** The floor comes in two sections, and I didn't want them gradually sliding apart. 6. **I did not use electric heating pads.** My usable outdoor electrical outlets were damaged during Hurricane Helene. Instead, on particularly cold nights I used palm-sized 18-hour hand warmers, activated them, tucked them securely inside socks, and placed them in the shelters. I generally used one when temperatures were around 23–35°F, two around 15–25°F, and three around 5–15°F. 7. **Location helps.** I think these shelters would do fine tucked into a reasonably protected outdoor location, and the asphalt roofs handle rain well. I especially wanted protection from winter wind, so I placed two houses inside my carport and one underneath my back stairs. 8. **Assemble them somewhere you don't mind getting a little messy.** I would not put these together in your living room unless it is also your project room! The asphalt roofing sheds some loose granules during assembly. 9. **Give the cats time to discover them.** I assembled mine in September 2025 and let the cats explore them on their own. Eventually, they decided the houses were theirs and began sleeping in them regularly. Once the weather warmed up, I removed the insulation, opened the little doors again, and reduced the bedding. The cats aren't using the houses much during the summer, but that is exactly what I expected. Overall, these worked very well for what I wanted: adaptable, year-round shelters that I could modify for western North Carolina winters and summer thunderstorms. With a few simple adjustments, all three became regularly used winter houses for my semi-feral cats.. Jewel Ward. North Carolina. Tue Aug 18 2026

Exactly what I was looking for! Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Packaging was great, not one piece was damaged. Upgrade time for my unruly WC Ctenosaura similis Iguana Spent all day building and decorating it for him. Look close and youll see him in the 4th picture. Hell grow into it eventually. I used the top cover as a liner for the bottom of the cage to catch any messes and protect my 200 year old floor. One piece of advice.... Make sure you build it on a flat, level area. It will help you line things up better. My 200 year old floor isnt either of those things but I still made it work and built it while my husband was at work.. Lisa. North Royalton, OH.
