The directions were difficult to follow. Yes you can look at the pictures and figure it out, and I did. I had to hit them with a hammer to get them in and then screw in with Allen wrench. However, once assembles, the product is study, pillows are soft and Velcro is there to keep them in place. This is a huge cat tree and I wasn’t expecting the size. I used a power screwdriver and that helped stabilize the tree. Really cute cat tree! I love how tall it is. Assembly was super simple and the instructions were very clear. My cats love the baskets. The only cons for me: 1.) It's very light, so easily tipped (although it includes a strap to attach it to the wall) and 2.) there are some places where the metal tops of the bolts are exposed. But great tree all around!. I’m so pleased with this purchase! The cat tree kit arrived with all listed parts, in excellent condition. The instructions were very clear and it was easy (and fun) to assemble. My two 13 week old kittens took to it very quickly and seem to enjoy playing and sleeping on it. (Both kittens climbed their way to the top perch by day 2.) The cat tree design is well thought out; the parts are made with care. The fully assembled cat tree is large, sturdy, stable, and fun for the kitties!
