Dog Ramps & Stairs

I put some wood glue on the dowels and slots for the stairs, just a little extra stability, I’m sure without it is fine. These are for my senior pup, she needs help getting in bed, I think these will be ok when she decides to use them. These seem sturdy enough, my son and I carried them to my room, pretty lightweight. Appears to be relatively heavy-duty and well made. It is certainly long enough to serve as we expected for our old fat beagle to use to get up into my truck, on the couch and possibly onto the bed again. Rocky has arthritis in his hips and we do a lot of lifting of his aft end to get him up the back steps, into the truck and onto the couch. The ramp is long enough to make the grade favorable and not so steep he cannot negotiate most "climbs" as needed. The ramp is very compact when collapsed, yet quite strong when extended for use. I like these dogs ramps, and love that they came in a set of two. We have an older dog that has a hard time with the bottom step of our basement stairs, because it is higher than the other stairs. She also has a hard time getting started up the steps to our RV when camping and the ground is uneven. They were easy to put together and are lightweight and portable. I purchased two of these to use as elevated feeding stations for my cats because temporary mobility restrictions make repeated bending difficult. They are very substantial, sturdy, and much larger and more furniture-like than typical pet stairs. The walnut finish looks premium, and the wide top provides plenty of room for food bowls and mats. One of my cats immediately climbed the steps, used the built-in scratcher, ate his dinner on top, and then casually walked across the back of the couch. My other cat is taking a little longer to investigate, but that is just her personality. These are doing exactly what I hoped they would do while also looking attractive in my living room.
