Durant Table Lamp

Light was hard to put together my husband had to take apart and loosen the rod to get it together. That’s not acceptable

I really like the lamp but the bottom base is scratched up. I thought it might just be smudges but I took a clean damp towel to clean it and discovered their scratches. They’re all around the base.
