It's beautiful but quite disppointed that it arrived dented and there is paint missing where it is dented. The dent also created a gap on the from of the mailbox. Also, the description said it came with the post. After waiting over a month for the mailbox to arrive, it arrived without the post and dented. I'll give it a 5 for design and sturdiness. Mine is mounted on a custom made structure, not a post, so I had to purchase longer bolts. Came with zip instructions. There are angle brackets welded to the inside of the box at apprx the height of the outside handle (haven't a clue what they are for) that impeded on the size of a package that could be put inside. I had my installer flatten them with heavy duty pliers, after getting no response to a question I submitted as to what they were for. Since the door is already mounted to that inside box, no way it would have been an installation error. Heavy duty magnetic latch on the door. Great quality mailbox and looks exactly as it did online. The only thing that I would definitely change are the screws that are visible. Just love my new mailbox! I made this purchase several months ago, & it finally was installed a few days ago. It was most carefully packaged, in sturdy boxes, & arrived in perfect condition. The color is perfect, & the mailbox is sturdy and well constructed. The metal post will last for years to come. The magnetic latch is adjustable for proper closure. The mailbox was an expensive purchase, but of great looks & quality, compared to any I saw locally. I did have the box installed by a handyman, & he told me it was not a difficult install, but he did not use the instructions included, as he thought they were very difficult to follow. This mailbox looks very nice. There are a couple fingerprints on the inside in the paint though. Looks like it must’ve been a little bit of a rush job to get it out of the warehouse. I’m not concerned about that as the only one that will see that is me and the mailman. We have not put it in yet as it’s winter time and we live in NE Ohio.
