We absolutely loooooove this! The cushions are a little thin, so we added a memory foam mattress to the top of it and then use a sheet to cover it and keep it outside to really make it like an outdoor bed. First time I’ve bought something with no reviews (scary!) but I took a risk because it was exactly what I needed. It fits perfectly on my particular balcony and my partner and I were on the hunt for a bench with storage. The storage box fits under the bench and extends into a daybed (fun!). it’s sturdy, SUPER straight forward assembly. The hardware is SOLID, heavy duty, and the color is exactly what we were hoping. 1 hour assembly time if you have a drill and can read. My only gripe with this product—and why I am rating it 4 stars—was the alignment on one of the arm rests was off unfortunately. After a few minutes of frustration, I took an exacto knife and shaved a bit of the attached dowel off. If I wasn’t a handy person, or didn’t wanna deal with the inconvenience, I would’ve returned it. But I was very motivated to make this work! At the price point, I would hope they would be more thorough with quality control and alignment, but I’m willing to deal with it because of my circumstances lol. I have a couple of tips if you decide to get this anyway 1) when you build the box portion of the set, ensure that the arms which lock into place are on the same back side as the brackets. 2) the thicker cushion is for the box portion, so that it aligns with the bench seat 3) i don’t think i would be able to assemble this by myself, but if you feel so inclined, just prop up the other pieces with something (anything) you have around 4) if you use a drill, i found having my torque at 21 was the ideal number. The footrest can be pulled out for extension and packed under the seat when not in use, also serving as storage for the cushion. A heavy fabric protection cover with water-resistant and UV-resistant coating safeguards the set from bad weather.

Daybed came well packed and with clear assembly instructions, if you are a bit familiar with general furniture assembly. Assembly is easy but time consuming. Construction is alright, I guess I'd expect it to be a bit more robust for the price point. In my case it is on a covered space so I don't anticipate any issues but I'd not recommend this for an area that is fully exposed to the elements. Sitting is comfortable. The pillow cases are on the cheaper side and feels a little like plastic. Color is close to white so easy to get stained. On the plus side, cases are removable for easy wash. With this outdoor sofa, you can stay outdoors all day long. For the price point it is a great set! It’s pretty easy to put together. The canopy on the back does a great job of blocking the sun and keeping you cool.  Also, the cushions are pretty thick and comfortable! The only thing I would say is the wicker is a weaker wicker. It needs to be protected from elements with a spray or marine varnish.
