It’s safe to say the level of detail in the instruction manual is one of the best we have ever seen! And the organization of the parts was *chef’s kiss*. We put it together in just over 3 hours while also wrangling our young hyenas - I mean kids. We have built dressers and desks and tables and wayyy too many Hot Wheels tracks. They all prepared us for this experience. And this was far easier than we thought it would be. My husband was able to be the only one up on the ladder while I took the role of assistant and hyena wrangling. Mirador provides a manual that is one of the best we’ve seen and the materials themselves are high quality. It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. You will need at least 2–3 people for assembly, especially when raising and securing the frame. The parts for the frame were easy to assemble. The only step where I needed help was having three people hold the frame upright while I secured everything together. So far, it has held up great, even with the heavy winds in my area. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I didn’t run into any issues during assembly, and all the required parts were included in the boxes—nothing was missing. I purchased a 10 foot and an 8‘ x 10 pergola. We put them side-by-side and we have created a beautiful area which will be a setting area and a hot tub area. I’m very pleased with this purchase as was my final big purchase and project in my garden renovation. The build was fairly straightforward and took about 7 hours to complete with 2 teens and myself. The only issue we encountered was that several pre drilled holes for the top lattices were a bit off center. However we were able to correct. Pretty nice and sturdy. It comes in 7 boxes + box with screens and curtains if that’s the model purchased. I wish the assembly instructions were in box one and that the instructions told you where the hardware was, The instructions and hardware are in box 5. Make sure all parts are not damaged before starting assembly especially the key structure parts. Some of my louvers were dented but the didn’t effect my assembly. They were replaced, but it took a week to get the replacements. Wayfair and manufacturer were responsive and easy to deal with but it took time to get the replacement parts. The instructions were lacking a bit with zero written instructions, only diagrams that occasionally missed the mark. It's sturdy and took 3 adults 3 1/2 hours to assemble, partly because it was a hot day. You'll need a ladder to complete assembly, but everything fits together well. Came quickly. 2 of the boxes came a day or two later, but it worked out great since they were the last parts needed. They came just as we needed them.
