The trellis arrived yesterday and the box was damaged. So my husband and I opened it carefully and just the three legs ( the part that goes into the ground were bent. I have not had a chance to call Wayfair yet, or even see if it will go in the ground and stand straight. I sure hope it does, because otherwise it looks very nice and appears well made. My husband and I were both surprised about the bent legs because the material it is made of seems hefty! Keep your fingers crossed it goes in the ground and stands straight because otherwise I love it! It went in the garden and looks great! It was easy to assemble, metal appears sturdy although no high winds or storm passed through yet. It’s tall and fit our space perfectly. This trellis is exactly what I expected based on the photos and description. It is made from lightweight powder-coated tubular steel with decorative birds and flowers that add a nice touch without being over the top. Each trellis comes in three sections that stack together. That doesn't affect its usefulness—once assembled, they stay together just fine, and I have no concerns about them separating while supporting a climbing plant. Long term, though, those joints will likely be the first places to rust and eventually fail after years of being outdoors. The trellis itself is plenty strong for typical climbing plants. I am not concerned about the frame bending under normal use. My bigger concern is stability. Each trellis is anchored by two spikes that are roughly 6 inches long, with no perpendicular stabilizers. They feel reasonably sturdy in the ground, but I could see a large, top-heavy plant combined with a strong wind putting enough leverage on the spikes to bend them. In the end, you get exactly what you would expect: a lightweight decorative trellis. Buy it because you like the way it looks, not because you're expecting a lifetime heirloom. I received this pair of iron lettuce trellis from Casanova through the Wayfair, tried and true program. Let me say that this is a terrific trellis! First of all, it’s super easy to put together three small parts to insert and a couple of wing nuts to tighten and it’s done. Secondly, this is a nice tall trellis. A 71 inches high and 15 inches wide. Absolutely perfect for staking up my growing tomato garden as you can see from my photos. These are really good quality trellis. This trellis did the trick. I needed something to organize these vines up, instead of going into the firepit. Easy to assemble.
