It’s a great umbrella! Once I decided where to place it on my patio, a few months after it was delivered and set up, it was a great choice. The pole has been a bit wobbly, but that was my choice to keep rotating it, I Until I moved it to a better location on my patio near my pool. . Once I moved it, tightened the pole on the base, I found it much better and happier that I bought it.. It does provide good sun and even rain protection. I lower when the forecast calls for rain, and wind. It looks res nice. Sunbrella fabrics are better than average and don’t fade. I also ordered the bronze weighted rose wheel base. Xx. It has a lock or so on the wheels. It could be wider than it is, for better stability on a windy day. It needs some extra weight on top to make sure it doesn’t blow over, with the umbrella closed. Ok, first off the umbrella is huge which is great. It covers a whole lot of shade. A few screws were missing and the stand it comes with is not very good. I had to hold the umbrella for pictures as it kept tilting and falling to the ground if not held by someone. It was easy to assemble and the material seems to be made of good quality material. I got this 15 ft patio umbrella from Wayfair because I needed serious shade for my backyard, and honestly, it does exactly what I needed it to do. The size is impressive. It covers a large area really well, especially over a patio table, chairs, and part of the surrounding yard. In Florida sun, that matters. This is not a tiny decorative umbrella pretending to help. It actually creates a usable shaded space. The umbrella itself looks really nice once it is up. The neutral color works well with my yard and patio setup, and it has a clean, simple look without feeling cheap or flimsy. I also like the double-sided design because it gives much better coverage than a standard round patio umbrella. The crank handle makes opening and closing it pretty straightforward once everything is assembled and standing. That said, this thing is heavy. Very heavy. That is good in the sense that it feels sturdy, but you should absolutely expect some effort when setting it up. I was able to get it together, but getting it upright was not exactly a delicate one-person activity. I would strongly recommend having two people, especially when lifting the umbrella into place and getting it stabilized. This is not something you casually pop up while holding an iced coffee in the other hand unless you are secretly training for a patio furniture strongman competition. The base is also important. Because the umbrella is so wide, you really need to make sure it is properly weighted and positioned, especially if you live somewhere windy or stormy. I would not leave it open during bad weather. Overall, I am happy with this umbrella. It gives a ton of shade, looks good in the yard, and feels sturdy once it is set up. My only complaint is that the Wayfair description online said it included a cover for the umbrella. The instructions that came with the umbrella said you need to buy your own cover. A very nice umbrella! We really like the navy color and the frame is sturdy. Make sure to purchase the correct base. The raising and lowering works smoothly. If you need to pivot the umbrella, you just move the handle into the pivoting gears and that also works so smoothly. I do want to give a shut out to both Wayfair and the business because the first one arrived in a mangled box, and the ribs of the umbrella were bent badly. This 9 ft aluminum cantilever patio umbrella is very nice quality and looks great. It arrived fully assembled with the canopy already on, which was a big plus and saved a lot of time. One thing to note is that the base is not included, which I didn’t realize at first, so we’ll need to purchase one separately. The crank is located in the front under the canopy, so you do have to step under the umbrella to raise and lower it. That said, it operates smoothly, and the tilt feature is very easy to use. We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. It is an awesome cantilever style umbrella, it is heavy and really easy to put together two observations is that the cover for the base is not included, so you have to be careful not to trip over the cross base. Upon some quick research it is possible to buy here on Wayfair too so you don’t have to make two separate orders. The other thing is that I still haven’t figured out how to prevent it from moving side to side with the wind but that is most likely user error. Overall is an excellent deal and a great products. The umbrella arrived damaged. It was the second time I’ve had issues with fedex not being careful while delivering this product. I was able to reach out to the company and they promptly responded and sent out a new umbrella. Besides the damage, umbrella will provide a lot of coverage and seems to be of good quality. The Johanna Cantilever Umbrella is impressive! A very stable and sturdy umbrella. I love the crank handle and the easy lift to tilt mechanism. Arrived quickly and package well with easy straightforward assembly instructions. I love that it bolts directly to the umbrella base.
