I've only had the swing seat for a week, so impression may change with time. The cushion fabric holds on to debris that lands on it, rather than brushing off easily as in other outdoor fabrics. We love these so much we bought two….now three after one malfunctioned. A couple of months into our second swing bed we noticed it had a deep crack in the center front bench seat.
