This set was just what we were looking for, a small bistro set for our deck that could also be easily moved if needed. The table and chairs fold up, and can be set out of the way. The cushions themselves don't offer much except a light cushion and a bright pop of color. You could also forgo the cushions and just find some of your own that are more comfortable, or go with no cushion at all. The chairs have a pretty slanted back, so if you are looking for more of a dining table type chair that sits straight, this is NOT it. We bought three of these chairs along with the 35" square table. Like the table, these were also solidly built and attractive. I deducted one star because the hardware that came with it didn't always fit. A few of the bolts were too long so didn't sit flush with the wood when screwed in all the way. Also, one bolt was missing so we had to buy it locally to complete the installation. All three bottles of glue that came with the chairs were hard as a rock, dried up and unusable. The instructions say not to oil the wood, although the chairs were oiled when they arrived, the table was not, and a small bottle of teak oil was included. Minor annoyances but worth mentioning.
