Very nice construction. It is a gift, so we did not take it out of plastic sealing yet, but everything looks good.. Victoria. Belle River, ON. Mon Jun 01 2026

Love the look!! Going to look great on our cupola. The balls feel plastic but that’s probably a good thing where weather is concerned. Overall it’s heavy and sturdy. Also purchased the lacquer to protect it. Only complaint is there’s no instructions or hardware provided to secure the weathervane to your cupola or roof. Not hard to figure out how to put together, but some bolts or screws or something to secure it would have been nice. UPDATE: hard to keep secured to the cupola the way the bottom is made. We have it bolted in but twice within a year now we’ve had to climb back on the roof because severe storms have knocked it over since its hinged with only two “flaps” of metal. That part of the design needs improvement. Again, no instructions or hardware included.. Gina. Walton, KY. Fri Sep 04 2026

Just to be clear, I did not request a replacement weathervane and I did not receive one. I called Wayfair because I could not see assembly instructions or screws through the clear plastic which enclosed the pieces of the weathervane. I did not want to open the packaging in case I needed to return the item. After a short hold, I was advised that the missing items would be sent to me. I did send a photo of the unwrapped item, as requested. The next day I opened the packaging and realized that assembly of the product was actually very simple, using the picture on the website as a guide, and the only screws required were the 6 screws to attach the weathervane to the cupola, which I purchased at a local hardware store. The attachment piece was not suitable for my cupola, so a friend was able to fabricate it to fit. I am very pleased with the way the project turned out. My only suggestion would be for the supplier to include a simple 1 page print-out or a pdf on-line for assembly in the product description, as well as a note indicating that attachment screws are not included.. Linda. Southampton, ON. Fri Sep 27 2024

We thought it was very nicely made & finished. Not sure if there were suppose to be screws with it to attach it to the roof. We had some to use. Thank you. Karen. PE. Thu Aug 27 2020

Picture is of the 'natural' color choice. Arrived in good shape. Very nice looking and sturdy. Purchased this as a gift and the recipient said it is a bit taller than he was expecting, does NOT look adjustable in that regard. Assembly required.. Lori. Sherwood Park, AB. Thu Oct 02 2014
