Gold Weathervanes & Cupolas

Provide with mounting screws would've saved me a lot of time. Otherwise, the product was well made and very nice to look at, mounted to the top of our new shed.. Kandi. Selden, NY. Thu May 28 2020

I bought as a December birthday git for my husband and he is going to like it. However it was delayed two times, that’s why I only gave four stars. If you ordering for Christmas you better hurry up!. Denise. Felton, DE. Mon Sep 07 2020

Just need to find a good quality bracket. I’ll come back and add a photo after we get the bracket.. Linda. Milford, PA. Sun Dec 21 2025

Good quality but not enough orange, as was shown in the photo. Too much grey and purple. ☹☹. Diane. Lynnfield, MA. Tue Mar 30 2021

Nice looking, sturdy, quality weather vane. Just purchased so I can t comment on durability just yet, but seems like it'll hold up well.. Allison. Rapid City, SD. Mon Mar 20 2017

Embrace the coastal lifestyle with this charming weathervane. Its nautical theme perfectly complements beach homes, adding a touch of seaside whimsy. Easy to see, this weathervane keeps you informed of the wind's direction.

This weathervane is by far the best one I have seen when searching for one. I have it displayed on top of my chicken coop and find much joy in it as it brings me back down memory lane .. Lena. New Braintree, MA. Fri May 15 2026

Fully functional. The arrow points in the direction of the wind to help determine pending weather. Made of cast aluminum - will not rust. Weather-resistant paints to last a lifetime. Distinctive ornament provides a personal touch to your home. Includes complete installation instructions. An adjustable base allows for a variety of mounting options.

Replacing another Eagle that blew away in a storm. Did a lot of research, ended with this weathervane. It is a classic but, it doesn’t seem to be so ostentatious. Liked the design better of the next size up, but thought it might be too large (tall) for my copula. It’s winter, so I have not climbed up to install it yet. I Know I’m taking a risk, but the price was right and the reviews on all the sites seem to think Whitehall products are pretty good. Hope I’m right!. Howard. Merrick, NY. Thu Mar 05 2026

Great size, exactly as promised. Was a gift and my Dad loves it.. Jodie. Milton, ON. Tue Apr 25 2017

Love the look!! Going to look great on our cupola. The balls feel plastic but that’s probably a good thing where weather is concerned. Overall it’s heavy and sturdy. Also purchased the lacquer to protect it. Only complaint is there’s no instructions or hardware provided to secure the weathervane to your cupola or roof. Not hard to figure out how to put together, but some bolts or screws or something to secure it would have been nice. UPDATE: hard to keep secured to the cupola the way the bottom is made. We have it bolted in but twice within a year now we’ve had to climb back on the roof because severe storms have knocked it over since its hinged with only two “flaps” of metal. That part of the design needs improvement. Again, no instructions or hardware included.. Gina. Walton, KY. Thu Sep 03 2026

Very nice construction. It is a gift, so we did not take it out of plastic sealing yet, but everything looks good.. Victoria. Belle River, ON. Mon Jun 01 2026

Picture is of the 'natural' color choice. Arrived in good shape. Very nice looking and sturdy. Purchased this as a gift and the recipient said it is a bit taller than he was expecting, does NOT look adjustable in that regard. Assembly required.. Lori. Sherwood Park, AB. Wed Oct 01 2014

The weathervane looks great. I hope it will work for my coupala.. Cheryl. Pennsylvania. Wed Jul 15 2026

Just to be clear, I did not request a replacement weathervane and I did not receive one. I called Wayfair because I could not see assembly instructions or screws through the clear plastic which enclosed the pieces of the weathervane. I did not want to open the packaging in case I needed to return the item. After a short hold, I was advised that the missing items would be sent to me. I did send a photo of the unwrapped item, as requested. The next day I opened the packaging and realized that assembly of the product was actually very simple, using the picture on the website as a guide, and the only screws required were the 6 screws to attach the weathervane to the cupola, which I purchased at a local hardware store. The attachment piece was not suitable for my cupola, so a friend was able to fabricate it to fit. I am very pleased with the way the project turned out. My only suggestion would be for the supplier to include a simple 1 page print-out or a pdf on-line for assembly in the product description, as well as a note indicating that attachment screws are not included.. Linda. Southampton, ON. Fri Sep 27 2024

Steel Extension Rod, generally used with installing weathervanes into Cupola's to give Weathervane more height up from the top of the cupola.

Nice heavy rod puts The weathervane up a little higher so it’s easier to see. Jody. Biglerville, PA. Sun Feb 09 2020
