Sauna Backrests & Headrests

Before using our sauna backrest, please briefly assemble the headrest. First, adjust the height and angle to your preference. Then align the holes and tighten the screws by hand. Important Tips: Our upgraded screw design allows for tool-free installation—simply tighten with one hand, no wrench needed. For smooth angle adjustment, gently tighten the screw just until it engages; there’s no need to turn it in deeply. The headrest is only fully secure when you’re leaning against the backrest. This is especially useful for infrared saunas and helps protect your skin from burns caused by heating plates. During use, the wooden panel may squeak with adjustments; this is normal. We recommend placing three rectangular towels on the bench, behind the backrest, and under the headrest to further protect the wooden surface.

Ordering was easy and shipping was fast. Quality was great. Would definitely recommend ordering from Wayfair!. Vicky. Kentucky. Wed Sep 23 2026

Sitting leaning forward in our sauna isn't comfortable at all for me, even resting my hands/elbows on my legs. I want to relax and leaning back without damaging/staining the sauna is what I wanted. This backrest is perfect. It came perfectly assembled. Is lightweight, and easy to handle. The wood matches the sauna closely, so it looks like it is part of it. Sitting up, it isn't quite perfect because to have any kind of slope, it puts you on the edge of the seat, but lounging in the sauna on the bench, perfect. I would definitely recommend this backrest if you're looking for one.. Kimberly. Fredericksburg, VA. Fri Jul 10 2026

Beautiful! I purchased an extra set for my large front porch. Great quality and it goes with any color decor.. Calandra Walker. Lawrenceville, VA. Wed Sep 02 2026

This backrest is a special backrest for sauna rooms but also can be placed on the sofa to form a whole set of users. The backrest can better allow the body to maintain a more correct sitting posture. The human body needs to sit with a natural bend or straight back in normal life, both of which can strain the muscles and ligaments around the lumbar spine and cause tension in the soft tissues around the back easily after sitting for a long time. The subtle S-shaped design conveniently rests on the heating plate at a slight angle to provide additional back support. It can be easily repositioned within your sauna as needed to create a perfect relaxation station.

Works perfect. It’s a little smaller than I was expecting but actually works well.. Tamara. Sioux Falls, SD. Wed May 13 2026

With dimensions of 22.6'' H x 15.6'' L x 7.3'' W, it fits perfectly in most indoor and outdoor saunas.

This was a great purchase. Our sauna has benches that are very short. This adds a much needed level of comfort while in the sauna. It is nice and tall so it would work for all heights. Helps to sit upright as opposed to hunching over.. Becky. CA. Wed Jul 01 2026

Weighing only 1.76 lbs with a compact 14.96×13.39×3.15 inch size, it features flexible dual installation methods for customized relaxation. This ergonomic cedar support relieves muscle fatigue during sauna sessions, delivering comfortable, safe and personalized spa enjoyment for daily home sauna use.

This is just a cheap product, sold for too much money. It’s probably fine, but definitely not something to be proud of.. Christoph. Berlin, DE. Sun Sep 27 2026

Accessorize your sauna with beautiful cedar floor tiles from Sauna Next. Each floor tile covers two square feet of floor in your sauna. The tiles are constructed from western red cedar, making them naturally resistant to moisture that can be present in your sauna. Each board has rounded edges on all four sides, enhancing the comfort of the naturally soft cedar wood. Place the tiles on any flat surface, positioning them in vertical, horizontal, basket weave, or random flooring patterns, depending on your preference. Simply cut the tile on a table saw if you need to adjust the size of some of the tiles to your specific sauna floorplan. The tiles also work great in any diameter barrel sauna. For a barrel sauna, place the tiles along the length of the sauna to create a flat floor that allows water to drain through. Tiles can be easily removed for periodic cleaning, which can be done with gentle pressure washing or simply wiping down with a vinegar and water solution. Sauna floor tiles by Sauna Next are the ideal addition to your sauna to beautify and enhance your sauna experience!

Just what i need thanks strong material and safe. Alma. Wylie, TX. Wed Dec 24 2025

This backrest basically is for a sauna room special backrest, but also can be put on the sofa for a complete set to use. The backrest can better let the human body maintain a more correct sitting posture, the human body in normal life needs to naturally bend over or sit straight waist, these two kinds of circumstances will make the muscles and ligaments around the lumbar spine tension, sitting for a long time easy to cause tension around the lumbar soft tissue. The elasticity and endurance of the muscles and ligaments of the lower back are poor, and there are varying degrees of degradation or injury. If you sit on a soft sofa for a long time, it will make your hips and waist deep in it. Sitting for a long time can make the waist and legs numb. It's best to lean against a hard backrest. The design of the backrest just compounds the physiological bending of the human body, while enjoying the sauna room, it can also better maintain a healthy posture and sitting posture. The hollow mesh design of the backrest can also play the massage effect at any time in the human body so that the human body can achieve a relaxed and comfortable state.

All crafted from premium cedar, this set combines functionality and elegance. The natural beauty and durability of cedar make it a perfect addition to any sauna, providing a luxurious and comfortable experience.

I purchased this Cedar sauna set for a small greenhouse ( that I also purchased here on Wayfair) I am turning into a wet room with a steam generator, I didnt check the dimensions before I ordered, and as you can see from my photos I have the entire set laid out on a rather large ottoman, so I think I am going to use this set in our portable sauna that I also purchased here on Wayfair, it looks like its going to be a perfect fit! The first thing that hits you is the amazing smell of the wood, its absolutely wonderful. One of the big surprises for me was that nothing needed to be assembled, every piece arrived fully assembled! I was absolutely overjoyed! The wood itself is nice and clear, very smooth, no sharp edges for bare feet. It was incredibly well packaged, and arrived undamaged. I do think however this size set would be ideal for a 1 person stand up indoor sauna for sure, the small rack I am going to use for the smaller towels, the peg robe hooks are absolutely perfect. Cannot wait to fire up the sauna in the Spring, these pieces will get a lot of use! You cannot beat the price for this set as it is solid Cedar, the shipping was fast and free it arrived undamaged and complete. You will not be disappointed in this set.. Jocelyn. Valatie, NY.
