It was easy to put together with the exception of the top’s “picture frame” that took a little bit of thinking. The wood was pre-drilled and the engineering on this construction is delightful. The parts fits together very well with self-evident features (grooves) in the wood panels that serve as a helpful guide. It took about two hours to construct and it was helpful to have a helper to brace it. We used an electric drillscrewdriver, a socket wrench and a regular screwdriver. We added a hole in the bottom panel to run an electric cord through. I think this sturdy little cabinet is going to last a long time.. Wendy. Dallas, TX. Tue Sep 08 2026

This potting bench features a solid fir wood construction that is pre-sanded and weather-sealed for durability and rot resistance, supporting up to 150 pounds. It includes an extra transparent PVC layer that is easy to clean and prevents water leakage to keep the work surface dry. The bench is equipped with a quality plastic sink and lid designed for convenient soil mixing and safe plant potting. For storage, it offers a built-in cabinet drawer with two hooks for tools and essentials, along with a large lower shelf that can hold up to 100 pounds for soil and fertilizer.

This potting bench works perfectly for me. It fits well within the space and is quite sturdy. It took the assembler about 45 minutes to put it together on my back porch, where it is now. Originally, I was going to paint it black to match the trim on my home. However, the brownish/gray color actually kind of blends in. So I am leaving it and considering painting it after a couple of years to freshen it up, rather than right now when it's new. The little plastic sink unit is nice and easily comes out to fill and/or dump its contents. The drawer is nice for items you want near by but out of the weather. There is a pretty sturdy plastic cloth that fits on top to cover the items below and keep them dry. I would expect that it protects the wood, too. I am pleased with this purchase.. Dyanne. We really loved the look of these potting bench with hutch. So much so, in fact, that we are using it as a china cabinet in the rec room of our new house. Originally, purchased two of these to use as a china cabinet for the rec room in our new house. I based the purchase of two on the measurements of the room as provided in the real estate listing. However, when we got to the new house, we realized that - although two MIGHT fit - it would make the room look very overcrowded. So, we sent one back and kept one.. Cheryl. Horseshoe Bnd, AR. I love this sofa/chaise/daybed. It’s perfect. I paid to have someone come put it together but it’s only 8 screws. So glad I looked at it before they came. It was a nice piece after getting built which would be alot easier if they would show more detailed instructions. Top or bottom or left or right side of pieces would help a lot. Got it built and seems sturdy enough although there are some imperfections. Mine had dimples in metal top that I cannot hide but not bad enough to repack and ask for another. (See Photos) I would probably purchase again. I have purchased from Wayfair before and they always try to correct any issues. Fixed by simple nails, a splashboard instantly transforms into a tool organizer, where all kinds of scissors, shovels, gardening gloves, and other tools can be properly placed, so there is no longer any need to worry about tools lying around. And the two shelves underneath not only increase storage space, but also can place large flower pots, gardening boxes or other heavier items. Three cleverly designed metal hooks on the side are perfect for hanging water bottles, ropes or other hanging tools. To ensure safe use, there are also two fall safety devices with ground spikes that keep it stable even when outdoors on bumpy or uneven ground, giving users peace of mind. This potting bench is extremely versatile for multi-scenario applications. Whether it's on a country patio, balcony, garden, or on a farm or greenhouse, it's easy to use.

If you are looking at this potting bench, buy it! It is sturdy and well made. It needs some sanding and a waterproof paint/stain, because it will last longer! The paint on this is not waterproof.. Charlene. Carbondale, CO. Tue Sep 01 2026
