I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. Great umbrella holder !! I have a picnic table I decided needed an umbrella so I ordered one( yes from Wayfair) but then realized i needed a stand as well . So I saw this one and it was on sale. I ordered it and when it came in I was surprised how heavy the box was because I didn’t expect it to be especially for the price. .Let me tell you this is NICE !! It was so easy to put together it literally took 5 minutes and it’s heavy duty . I seriously doubt this could blow over . It’s got a pretty design on it as well . Once you put the umbrella in the stand you just tight and that’s that. i It was packaged very well with Styrofoam so nothing could get damaged and the instructions what few pieces you need to assemble it was in there as well, That is basicall a few washer and a bolt You do need your own tool to tighten it but a wrench is all you need. Love it! It is heavy, as it says it is, and doesn't require filling with sand or water which is nice. The wheels on the one side make it easier to move when on a smooth surface (otherwise I just pick it up entirely).
