I am a fan of wooden toys for many reasons, primarily just to reduce the use of plastic. The painting on this is very well done. It is absolutely adorable. It was fairly easy to put together, with the only trouble coming from the top rod that the child will use to grab with their hands. The hole that was drilled in this rod was not big enough for the screws provided, and I ended up stripping the screws, trying to get them in.
