The optional locking kit locks the front and back door from unwanted opening only by you. Mail is easily deposited through the street side mail slot. 4 keys are included, and all keys will open the front and back door.

This is a well made product. I had a cheaper address plate for the top of our mailbox and it faded away within 1 year. This is a cast product with paint and it should last many years. Now no one can miss our driveway. We share a driveway with our neighbor and their mailbox shows up first on our street. We have had delivery companies buzz by and have to come back to our home. I did a make over on my old plastic green mailbox monster. It was in dire need. It had the house number stickers on both sides. This address number plaque just adds a styled clean look. It is very well made with a whole slew of numbers to choose from. It was very easy to install on the top. Just punch or drill the holes and screw it on.
