Don’t know why (have some suspicion that it may have been intentional) but every year we ended up needing to buy replacements. This will be our fourth unit since 1988, and we’ve had both types of trampolines (with and without the metal frame.) It got very frustrating from a maintenance/budget perspective to have to check how many springs were missing when storing our AJ’s for the winter and making sure someone got replacements (and spares) ordered before setting them up in June.. It is worth mentioning that the copper rod will patina as it cleans, as you can see in second photo, so frequent cleaning of the copper rod is essential. I recently purchased the cordless robotic pool cleaner and have used it three times now. I have an in-ground pool which is 8 feet deep. It cleans the bottom of my pool sufficiently.
