This is by far the best market umbrella I’ve ever owned. I opted for the sunbrella fabric as it’s heavier than the other fabrics I’ve owned in the past (and did not last as long).This umbrella has a bronze colored pole and is operated by a hand crank although it does have an auto tilt feature. The auto tilt is amazing as you slowly keep cranking after the umbrella is fully extended, the auto tilt engages and the umbrella will automatically tilt. Once you start cranking in the opposite direction to close the umbrella, the auto tilt disengages and the umbrella stands upright so you can finish closing it. This is a new pic but I’ve had the umbrella over a year. This umbrella has treated me extremely well. I think its treated me better than I’ve treated IT. My recommendations overtime.. keep it in the lowered closed position when not using. I kept it in the horizontal position and open for days at a time. And it’s STILL good. Have had this about a year now. It made it through Texas's last, brutal summer in fine shape. I closed it up and stacked it in a corner outside for the winter, and it made it through that, too. I have every expectation it'll make it through this summer just fine. It's sturdy. I especially like that air can pass through it.
