Fantastic product! Looks amazing but the functionality of the camera and AI make it one of my favorite purchases of the year. I never knew so many gorgeous bird species frequented my backyard before. The AI makes enjoying a birdfeeder so much more accessible for someone looking to get into the hobby without any prior knowledge of birds. The squirrels aren’t really deterred by the alarm but that’s okay.

The bamboo feeder is nicely designed and well-constructed. The feeder and accessories were packed securely in a very nice and sturdy box. There are multiple options to mount, from wall, poll or even a small tree with the included strap. From unboxing to setup took about 30 minutes. I chose to pole mount and was skeptical at first that it would hold but it is firmly attached, and I’m not worried about it moving at all. I was able to place the solar panel so in the late afternoon/evening it will get direct sunlight and that it keeps the camera charged without any issues. Connecting the camera to Birdfy app was straightforward and took about 2 minutes. I do wish the app had better navigation. There is a setting to change from default SD video to 2k in the settings, but you must select the bird feeder first, then settings, then more settings. Videos can be downloaded and shared easily. I would recommend cleaning the camera once a week because birds are messy. The AI detection is a nice touch if you are new to backyard birding. Although not 100% accurate, I still recommend it.

This is my second Birdfy smart bird feeder, and I'm consistently impressed by its ease of installation and setup. The first was a gift for a family member, and I’m able to receive notifications of visiting birds. This one is for me, and I'm excited to see the variety of birds it attracts. Right after filling it, blue jays and a cardinals checked it out, though they didn't perch for photos. I've never seen a blue jay in my backyard before! The images are sharp, and it records the different bird visits. It's easy to fill and maintain, and the solar panel attachment eliminates charging time. When I didn't get visitors for 24 hours, the support team advised me on the best seed to use, and I had a visitor the next morning!

This is our second Birdfy. I loved the first one BUT I more than love this one! It’s beautiful and fits in nicely with my backyard AND it does so much more than my original one. What a difference… the solar panel, the AI, identifies the birds (and squirrels). I can’t say enough… but I may have to invest in a hummingbird camera next…

And it’s clearly built to last: water-resistant, scratch-resistant, and weather-resistant – it’s been through a few storms already with zero issues. The Birdfy Feeder Bamboo is more than just a feeder – it’s a connection to nature. It brings joy every day and would honestly make the perfect gift for any bird lover. If I had one wish, it would be for a live streaming feature, like some of their other models. Hopefully, that’s something they can add in a future update. All in all – I’m in love with this product. Smart, sustainable, and stunning. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this feeder! I can not wait for the birds to find it. Looks very high quality and sturdy. Much larger than I was expecting. Set-up was easy and the Birdfy app is easy to use!

This is a great product, well made, easy set up, and long wifi range. Pictures are crystal sharp, and the alarm makes it fun to scare off squirrels. A great gift for any bird watcher/lover.
