We have several birdfy feeders now around our house. So far this one has been great - the camera is clear & picks up movement just like the others do, and the reservoir holds a good amount of nectar for whoever wants to stop by. That being said, some improvements it could use: - the unit is light enough that hanging it as it is will allow it to blow around in a strong enough wind. We'll probably put a 4x4 post in the ground and velcro the feeder to the top of the post. For future iterations of this they may want to go with a different support system. - it states that it's ant-resistant. We haven't had any big ants end up in the nectar, but I have had some smaller ants drown, so it should probably get a few improvements in that area All in all, we're happy with our purchase. This is my first bird feeder camera and so far I am somewhat disappointed. I had a hard time with putting it in range of my WIFI and keeping it connected. I also think the position of the camera and the perch is not compatible. Most birds don't land right in the middle for a perfect shot. This is my second product from Birdfy -- we previously had the Nesting box but have so many hummingbirds that thought this would be a fun addition to our garden as well. Super simple to assemble and pair with the app and love that it came with some extra parts as well. This has been a wonderful teaching tool for my children. They have been able to watch birds feed and see them close up with the camera. The wifi system works great!
