Great little purchase. Had to buy a decorative plate mount to cover the whole the previous light left, but that was because of the previous light and minor inexpensive inconvenience. Light looks more expensive and vintage than it is. The photo makes the light look colder than it is. The warmth of the light will depend on the bulb you select. This was the perfect choice for my home office. The jbox which controls this light fixture would not allow for a dimmer switch so this Deontee fixture worked perfectly: LED, dimmable and the ability to change the color temperature. I wanted to give this 5 stars! The oil-rubbed bronze is the PERFECT tone in person (not too brown, more of a softwarm black but distinct from true black when placed next to it). Put the whole thing together myself except I can’t tell if this plastic thing needs to be removed. I don’t think the wires will fit otherwise. The instructions don’t specify and for an electrical noob such as myself it is mildly frustrating to have to wait for my husband to get home to finish the project. Issue is mostly due to my lack of experience but seems like an easy thing to add to the instructions.. Sam. US. Wed May 27 2026
