Great lamp, the design speaks for itself. The lamp shades are high quality, and the cords it hangs from is wrapped in durable protection. It’s not exposed. The base is heavy, but the lamp pole only screws into the base through one screw. If something bumble into it it will definitely be shaky.. Abdul. Thu Aug 13 2026

Standing 59″ tall, it features a slender metal column with a matte finish and a crisp drum shade that provides soft, even light. We love that its timeless design blends seamlessly with both modern and traditional interiors.

Love the lamp, however it is top heavy and wants to lean. Also the glass ball for the top won’t stay in the cupped holder.. Cecelia. Owensboro, KY. Thu Oct 01 2026

This floor lamp provides efficient ambient lighting for an entire room in a slim design. Simplicity shines in this look with a matte finish and a tapered frosted plastic shade. An Adesso patented 300-watt double socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150-watt incandescent or led bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. Note: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150w or dimmable LED bulbs (do not use: 3-Way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using led bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable lead will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.

Very happy. Bradley. Antioch, CA. Mon Jun 08 2026

Whether you place it beside the sofa in the living room or in the executive office, the swing arm floor lamp in antique pewter with a beige textured Linen fabric shade gives elegant form to practical function. The lamp extends and rotates light to just where you need it. At 57 high, this floor lamp is a substantial addition to your home decor. A three-way rotary switch on the socket controls a bulb up to 150 Watts or an equivalent CFL. The 3-way rotary socket switch will only work with a 3-way light bulb, otherwise, this lamp will function with a simple on/off switch at its highest setting.

Just what i needed for my reading corner in my office.. Daniel. Arlington, VA. Wed Sep 02 2026

The metropolis floor lamp is a sleek, contemporary style with a dramatic elegant bowl shade. It provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible.

Perfect touch for the look that I wanted. I wanted something somewhere between spare contemporary and traditional, which is usually to heavy/fussy for me. This lamp is clean-looking but doesn't look as if it belongs in a cold medical exam-room. I think it fits into the space with a more transitional style without sticking out like a sore thumb. I'm very happy with the result. The uplighting gives the perfect effect for the vaulted ceiling. The lamp is solid and stable. The on/off switch doesn't have the flimsy feel that many others that I've purchased had, so I'm hopeful that this one will hold up longer. I took one star off because assembly was a bit frustrating; I had more than a little difficulty working the electrical cord down inside the tube enough to screw the top of the lamp down completely - a VERY tight fit that took several attempts. But the result was worth it.. Innerchild. Missouri. Fri Jul 31 2020

In a classic 60" height, perfect for a sofa or chair, it will easily blend in with a variety of décor styles. The silk-wrapped cord completes the look with elegant panache.
