My biggest critique of the chandelier is the quality of the crystals. Many of them looked smudged or scratched when we took them out of the packaging. My other critique is the way the lights are set, there is no light at the bottom of the chandelier, the biggest part of the light source is the top in the middle, but the bottom seems to just hang his decorations. Five gently curved arms reach outward like branches in winter, each ending in a mouth-blown glass shade that ripples like water just frozen mid-motion. The dark gunmetal frame, warm gold sockets, and those textured clear glasses come together as something sculptural — less a ceiling fixture, more a piece you chose for the room.
