Designed by Thom Felicia, the Dresden collection finds inspiration from the curtain walls of large urban buildings. The addition of a linen shade, rather than glass, softens the light and look of the fixture. The traditional lantern form referenced in this design has also been updated with a modern architectural approach. The Dresden collection is an exciting new interpretation of a centuries-old mainstay form - both strong yet subtle, structured yet relaxed, and bold yet refined.

This chandelier updates a classic silhouette with a geometric outline shade that elevates your modern farmhouse decor. Its lantern design is crafted from metal with a simple circular canopy and a height-adjustable chain. Two tiers feature four arms each with a contemporary take on a candelabra sconce—the top level keeps the holders tight-knit, while the lower is spread out. Trapezoid openwork metal frames the inner fixture for an elegant contemporary look. It's also compatible with a dimmer switch so you can easily set the mood.

I was excited to get this light. It works perfectly in my foyer, as the size is what I needed and the style is what I wanted. There was enough chain to easily hang the light and we had no problems at all with packaging. I only gave the product 4 stars because I wish I had painted the silver black before I put it up. The silver is actually bright, not muted. But, it really was my fault as I meant to order the oiled bronze (all black) and did not. Overall, though, it works great and I really like it!. Kimberly.
