I like this a lot and it was a nice and easy install. It comes with the lightbulb which is also really nice. The only thing that frustrated me is that the base of it is plastic. I was screwing it in and the plastic cracked. I plan to paint the post so I will try to cover the crack with paint also but when that happens with a new light you are just frustrated. It is very nice however hardwiring is not an option for me. The small light that is powered by the solar battery does not put off very much light. It is very dim compared to other solar lights I have on my property. Since I was installing mine on a wood rail I had to find 4 screws that were long enough to fit the base. When I attached the three screws that held the top section onto the base the metal actually split a bit. But it felt secure so I have not reached out to company.. Phyllis. Louisiana. Sun Jun 14 2026

Rated for wet locations, this aluminum fixture features a curved silhouette with a sloped roof and a decorative finial up top in a versatile solid finish. It features a weather-resistant design that stands up to tough UV rays and the occasional rainstorm. Clear beveled glass panels make up the shade, letting light from three compatible bulbs (not included) pass through. Plus, this fixture is dimmable to get the lighting you want. A 3" post is sold separately.
