These solar lights do not give off quite the same glow as shown in the pictures. The pictures make it look like a pattern of light but really it's just a solid circle of light. There were eight lights in the pack and putting them together was easy. You can stick them in the ground on mount them on a wall. The three different light settings have a slightly different brightness but I just put them on the lowest and it's sufficient for our needs.
