It was easy enough to install ourselves. Pity that the bulb installs sideways, rather than vertically, so the light appears off center. I think we have the “antique brass” bolts holding the glass in place, but they are actually much less gold than they looked in the advertisement. We were looking for a bright gold. A white option (not available) might have been better than the antique brass.. Blandyna. Sun Aug 20 2023

A well-lit home is all about balance: the balance between task, accent, and ambient lighting. That’s where wall sconces really shine. This traditional flush-mounted design showcases an upward-facing half-moon shade crafted from frosted glass for a classic look.

Plus, mount this versatile fixture to be upward- or downward-facing depending on your lighting needs. Elegant and stylish, the brushed nickel finish with a slate gray fabric shade adds sophistication to any home.

I had a hard time finding a light fixture of this type in this style, for whatever reason, so I gave this one a shot. It came fully intact with no damage. We've replaced almost every light fixture in our new home and this was one of the last we did and was probably one of the easiest to install. I purchased it for the stairwell going down to our basement. It looks very nice installed. I agree with some of the reviewers who have said when the light is on the shade takes on a yellow tone. We are using 60w Daylight LED bulbs so they are the whitest light you can purchase. Based on other reviews, I knew this was a possibility, but I liked the fixture so I took a chance. Still giving it 5 stars for quality, ease of installation, and looks. Very happy with this purchase.. Dagny. Missouri. Sun May 02 2021
