These pendants are simple but classy, which is what we wanted. It took us about 30 minutes to remove our old pendants and put these up. This is a beautiful pendant. I gave my pantry a full DIY remodel and needed a new elegant light to complete the room. I chose this one because I needed to be able to customize the height as I did not want it hanging too low in the room. It is elegant and the globe is quality glass. The brushed gold is a nice touch. Lights are very elegant looking. These were put over a kitchen island with Delta champagne bronze fixtures. These lights are a little more "brassy" "gold" than the more muted tone of the champagne bronze, but it still looks really nice. unless the two are right next to eachother, you cant tell they are not exact matches. The lights are also packaged really we;; and come with plenty of cable to hang. probably 6 feet of cable per light? Ours only hang down 18" Be aware they do have a know on each light so you can turn each one off individually too. The glass shade is maybe not as deep as we were thinking, but that is not a negative. It is exactly as described. The finish is very nice. The chain does not have a carabiner-style link for adjusting the chain's length, but I did not want that, anyway. This is not a top quality piece (the edges of the glass are cut with a glass-cutter, not formed while the glass is still hot to produce a smooth edge), but at this (fabulous) price-point, I guess that can't be expected.
