While this is a really cute lighting piece I wasn’t crazy about the rope line material it’s made out of. It also doesn’t go up well. You need a box put in behind it and that is difficult process. If you want to fool with getting it to work up to you. It’s really unique and if you put it in a kitchen, den, or bath, or over a bed it would look really nice. The fact that it has “staggered hanging” shades makes it look really great. It’s a very versatile piece because of that fact. It is made pretty well. It’s not the quality that other types of lighting pieces have been that I have gotten in the past. That being said, it’s I think because of the type of material used which is naturally a less expensive type of wicker/rattan, rope type. I’m giving it a 4 stars but I wouldn’t want anyone not to buy it because of that. Just not the quality some things are. However, it’s overall a really unique, cute piece if you have a place that you think it would look good, don’t hesitate to get it and try it. Great price, easy to hang in existing light socket.
